AQUASMART^® HYBRID

AQUASMART^® HYBRID is a water based, very fast drying, aliphatic Polyurethane hybrid coating for waterproofing and protection. The product is easily applied on both vertical and horizontal substrates and forms a seamless, elastic, thixotropic and hydrophobic membrane.

TYPICAL SPECIFICATIONS

AQUASMART^® HYBRID shall be applied over the coat of primer AQUASMART^®-DUR/ MICROSEALER-50. The product shall have a CE certification for 10 years expected working life. The cured membrane shall have tensile strength >5 MPa, Elongation > 300% and water absorption <5%.

SURFACE PREPARATION

All waterproofing treatment performances are based on the soundness and suitability of the surface. The surface shall be cleaned from all loose materials, oil, laitance and any other construction debris. The surface shall be free from spalling and unevenness, if in case the surface is very uneven, then it shall be resurfaced using polymer modified repair mortars.

APPLICATION OF PRIMER

AQUASMART^® -DUR/ MICROSEALER-50 shall be mixed well and applied using roller /brush over the prepared RCC surface as a primer that shall be self-cured.

JOINT FILLING

Joints and inner angles should be treated with polyurethane based sealant HYPERSEAL^®-EXPERT-150 or HYPERSEAL^®-25LM-S.

APPLICATION OF WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE

AQUASMART ^® HYBRID can be applied in two successive layers by using roller, brush or airless spray machine. The product having CE certification for 10 years expected working life. Due to its thixotropic properties, it is easily applied on inclined surfaces.
